Ryan is currently a post-doctoral researcher in the School of Business at QUT. His research is focused on behavioural change in a variety of areas including household energy efficiency, food poverty and insecurity, community engagement and stewardship in waterways, and natural disaster preparedness.
He worked on the Reduce Your Juice gamification program funded through the federal government’s Low Income Energy Efficiency Program (LIEEP), Powershift, which reviewed the program elements and outcomes from LIEEP, and an Australia wide study into household segments regarding tariff reform.
He is experienced in a variety of research methods and software for statistical analyses, data visualisation, social media analysis, content analysis, systematic literature reviews, interviews, survey questionnaire development and delivery.
