
Jamintha is engaged in research as a PhD candidate in the School of Mathematical Sciences. Her primary area of focus being the development of an innovative hybrid statistical algorithmic methodology for delineating Labor markets. The results of this research endeavor will be employed by the Australian Bureau of Statistics for the purpose of establishing forthcoming Australian Statistical Geography Standards. Jamintha’s academic journey commenced with the successful completion of her bachelor’s degree in Statistics with Honors, which was conferred upon her by the Faculty of Science at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka.
