I am a PhD Candidate in the School of Computer Science at the Queensland University of Technology. I previously completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer and Software Systems) and worked in the software development industry. Now, I research in the field of bioinformatics, with a particular focus on the CRISPR-Cas9 technology. My thesis is titled Rapid Detection of Safe and Efficient Gene Editing Targets Across Entire Genomes. I am also a Sessional Academic in the School of Computer Science and School of Information Systems. My teaching has focused on database design, data manipulation, algorithms and computer systems.
