Dr David Borg is an early career researcher interested in human health and exercise performance. He was awarded his PhD in 2019 by the Queensland University of Technology, which focused on the perceptual and physiological underpinnings of fatigue during exercise performance in the heat. David subsequently worked as a research fellow at Griffith University, in the area of disability and rehabilitation. David joined the Australian Centre for Health Services Innovation (AusHSI) in 2022 as a research fellow. In his role, David uses quantitative methods to undertake research directed toward improving human health performance. A secondary focus of his research includes using meta-science to study the application of statistics in sports and exercise science and medicine.
