Claudio Arancibia-Ibarra is a Mechanical Engineer. He holds a Bachelor degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics and Physics and a Master in Mathematics and completed his PhD at QUT in 2020. For the last 12 years, he has been working in Applied Mathematics, analysing numerically and analytically different models associated with ecological systems. In his thesis he has been working to establish the connection between ecology and mathematics and therefore build a better understanding of ecological systems. His research interests are data analysis, mathematical modelling in population dynamics and dynamical systems.
