Centre Manager, Centre for Data Science

As Centre Manager since July 2024, Ashley provides leadership and management of the Centre for Data Science’s core operational activities, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of the Centre’s vision and objectives. This includes managing all operational matters of the Centre, the delivery of administrative services, project delivery support, budgeting, and reporting. Ashley has held various roles in the Faculty of Science at QUT, including as School Manager and research centre Project Officer.

Before moving to Australia in 2020, Ashley worked for Aalborg University in Denmark as an External Lecturer in Development and International Relations who specialised in the Problem-Based Learning Aalborg Model, and as Journal Manager and Assistant Editor. She also managed the Communications and Outreach Teams of social enterprise startup REstart Refugees.
