Project overview
The project aims at the development of the best practices to be adapted for the export of avocados to Asian countries and making sure that the shelf life of the fruit is increased using predictive modelling.
This is a Food Agility project in collaboration with Costa and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
Outcomes
Since avocados have rich nutrients and many health benefits, the outcome of the project would be an increased availability of the avocados to a wider population.
