The QUT Centre for Data Science (CDS) is proud to have hosted teams from around Australia as part of the 2023 U.N. Datathon! The Datathon is a global event, and our Centre was just one of seven satellite host sites around the world.

The Australian Data Science Network (ADSN) organised the event at our Centre. The ADSN is made up of more than 30 centres, universities and organisations from around Australia. CDS is proud to be the founding member of the ADSN.
There were seven teams of four-to-five people each who took part in this event. These researchers are from 10 different universities and organisations from around the ADSN and joined CDS researchers on these teams. In addition, there was an ADSN team competing together in Melbourne.
Below is the ADSN video from this event.
