Associate Professor James McGree strives to make data collection more informative, cheaper and less time-consuming. By developing new statistical and computational methods, his research finds smarter ways to collect data, leading to better efficiency when answering research questions.
His work in experimental design crosses multiple disciplines, from health to reef protection to monitoring waterways, and he has helped partners in a wide range of industries.
“Anywhere I can apply new, emerging and advanced statistical methods to help answer pressing questions and have real-world impact — that’s where I want to make a difference,” McGree said.
