WHAT IS NUDGEATHON?
Nudgeathon is a behavioural change competition, in which students develop solutions to real-life social issues.
QUT’s Queensland Behavioural Economics Group (QuBE) in collaboration with the Behavioural Economics Team of the Australian Government (BETA) in the Office of Prime Minister and Cabinet, and the Crawford School of Public Policy (ANU) is bringing the second annual Nudgeathon to Canberra in Sept 2018!!
We invite teams of 4 students, undergraduate and postgraduate, as well as teams from government departments and agencies and the private sector from all across Australia to compete in a two and a half-day Nudgeathon to be held at the Crawford School of Public Policy (ANU), Canberra.
Using principles of behavioural science, 15 teams of 4 students will work on a problem brief and present their solutions to a panel of expert judges from academia, government and industry. Winners will be announced on day three. The winning proposal will be presented to government with the goal of being implemented either at a Commonwealth or State level.
