Justin completed a Bachelor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics at UQ before joining Rocket Lab in 2014 to help revolutionize access to space. There, he developed flight safety, guidance, navigation, and control software. He was “on console” for two rocket launches, one of which marked the first orbital launch from NZ. He also worked on autonomous aircraft at Boeing Phantom Works International and was a GNC Engineer at Gilmour Space Technologies.
In 2020, Justin started a PhD with QUT and CSIRO. His focus is on developing dynamic behaviours for legged robots.
