Josh completed a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering at QUT in 2018 and currently holds the position of Research Engineer within QUT’s Research Engineering Facility (Robotics & Autonomous Systems), supporting research outcomes within QCR as an Associate Investigator.
Previously, he has worked as an engineer within a start-up prototyping robotic systems for large scale industrial painting and cleaning. Contribution to semi-autonomous platform development to enable removal of personnel from dangerous processes within the mining industry followed, focusing on machine control and motion planning for data collection, substrate sampling and explosive delivery.
