Defence robotics

QUT leads research and development for a range in a range of defence sectors including autonomous vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles, with past and present partners including Rheinmetall Defence Australia, Boeing and AOS Group. We particularly specialize in technological capabilities around positioning systems for GPS- and communication-denied environments, visual intelligence systems including advanced terrain traversability analysis and full autonomy stack development.
