This position will research, develop and demonstrate multi-robot collaboration and coordination perception, planning and execution strategies that allow heterogeneous maritime robotic systems complete achieve a set of mission objectives.
We are looking for a PhD qualified researcher with experience using software simulation tools such as Gazebo or Unity, and/or experience developing simulation frameworks in other packages (e.g., Matlab, Python), and the ability to translate research outcomes to physical robotic platforms (e.g. using the Robotic Operation System). This 2 year Level B Position which is inclusive of an annual salary range of AUD $99,272 to $117,898 pa and 17% superannuation (funded as part of a Defence Science and Technology (DST) Group collaboration).
