Centre for Robotics Mid-Year 2021 Awards

The recent QUT Centre for Robotics mid-year retreat ended with an award ceremony. The group celebrated the achievements of their colleagues who have helped foster an inclusive and innovative environment within the past 6 months. The winners and award categories are below.

Best Collaborative Paper The QUT Centre for Robotics award for Best Collaborative Paper is awarded to researchers who have worked together to conduct collaborative research in robotics, as evidenced by this publication.

Best-Profile Raising Event is presented to the individual or team who best represent the aspirations of the Centre.
Best team The QUT Centre for Robotics award for Best Team is awarded to the team who has worked collaboratively to address a significant robotics challenge.
Quiet Achiever The QUT Centre for Robotics award for 2020 Quiet Achiever  is awarded to a person that has produced an impressive  amount of research outcomes in the last 12 months.
Emerging Leader The QUT Centre for Robotics award for Emerging Leader is awarded to the individual who provides guidance and inspiration to their peers and has displayed promising leadership skills.
Emerging Centre Citizen The QUT Centre for Robotics award for 2020 Emerging Centre Citizen is awarded to a person that embodies the spirit of the QUT Centre for Robotics and assists in fostering a supportive, innovative, inclusive and fun environment.
Centre Citizen The QUT Centre for Robotics award for 2020 Centre Citizen is awarded to a person that embodies the spirit of the QUT Centre for Robotics and fosters a supportive, innovative, inclusive and fun environment.
Awesomeness The QUT Centre for Robotics award for Awesomeness is awarded to the individual who is an all-round achiever within the Centre who displays positivity and resourcefulness.
