Jessie McKee

    Honours Student

Jessie is a recent QUT Bachelor of Applied Science graduate, currently continuing her academic journey by completing her Honours degree, supervised by Grant Hamilton and Ian Williamson. Her honours project is investigating infrared thermography as a novel method for detecting wildlife – cryptic species in particular. Through various laboratory and field experiments it is hoped that the operating variables and environmental settings that most influence the systems ability to detect, will be elucidated. Understanding such may allow for the development of a standardised protocol for their use in the field.
