Katie Johnston and Evangeline Corcoran are presenting at the Ecological Society of Australia Annual Conference

Evangeline Corcoran and Katie Johnston will be presenting their novel methods for detection of koalas and vegetation measurements in their habitat at this years Ecological Society of Australia Annual Conference. They will both be giving speed talks at the Symposium:  Conservation technology: Innovative applications for ecology on November 25th. Additionally, Katie will be presenting a poster that evening. Katie’s presentation is titled “Using LiDAR to examine the influence of vegetation structure on koala tree selection.”, and Evangeline’s is “Automated detection of koalas in thermal imaging derived from UAVs”.
