Title: Showcase of Bayesian Computational Methods
Date: 15 July 2016
Abstract: In this talk I’ll discuss my main research interests centred around Bayesian computational methods for performing statistical inference and experimental design. One of the advantages of the Bayesian framework is that complex statistical models can be accommodated whilst providing a principled method for quantifying the uncertainty of estimates. To illustrate the methods I will consider various applications.
