Jayden completed his Bachelor of Science degree from QUT in 2022 and completed a Bachelor of Creative Industries in 2017. From the BSc, Jayden’s concentrations were focused around astrophysics and environmental science.
Prior to starting his BSc, Jayden was a stargazing tour guide and planetarium manager in Aroaki/Mount Cook, NZ, where he found his passion for the universe and interplanetary sciences.
Jayden is currently studying his MPhil under A/Prof David Flannery with a working thesis title of “Eoastrion; durable mineralic biosignature for metal-cycling microbes, or pseudofossil?”. Through analysing ancient Earth, Jayden is hoping to find relevant applications to contribute towards current investigations on Mars.
