The Federal Education Minister Dan Tehan has announced the outcomes for the Australian Research Council Linkage Projects for funding starting 2020 and Discovery Projects for funding starting in 2021.
QUT has been awarded $1,200,955 for three ARC Linkage Projects and $4,917,549 for 13 Discovery projects, including $501,000 for a QUT Planetary Surface Exploration Group project aiming to virtually project astrobiologists in remote environments via innovations in virtual reality technology. The federal funding was awarded to PSE’s Dr Selen Turkay, Dr Ross Brown and Dr David Flannery.
