Project dates: 06/12/2018 - 29/10/2019
Discovering that their child has an incurable disease is a harrowing experience confronting thousands of Australian families. We know that discussing this prospect helps maximise the quality of life of these children. However, families report struggling to know what questions to ask, from who, and when. This project involved synthesising research evidence with clinician and consumer expertise to develop, test, and disseminate a Question Prompt List (QPL) around Australia. Findings from this research can be found QUT ePrints
