A/Prof Ekberg is a Research Fellow (DECRA) in the School of Psychology and Counselling at QUT. A/Prof Ekberg specialises in health communication research, which includes a dedicated program of research investigating children’s use of health services. He also brings experience in translating research findings into workforce development initiatives. A/Prof Ekberg leads the Gilead project and is a co-investigator on the ARC project being undertaken by the Paediatric Palliative Care & Support Research Group.
