
Adjunct Associate Professor Herbert is the Director of the Paediatric Palliative Care Service at Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service and Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at QUT. His research focuses on children with life-limiting conditions and their families, focusing on clinical communication with this population and workforce development initiatives. Adjunct Associate Professor Herbert leads the Quality of Care Collaborative for Australia in Paediatric Palliative Care and is a co-investigator on the ARC and Gilead projects being undertaken by the Paediatric Palliative Care & Support Research Group.
