We have now concluded the data collection component of Phase Two. Throughout late 2017 and 2018 we interviewed over 30 parents of Year 5 children across Queensland. After a slow start to participant recruitment, we were inundated with interest following a brief social media campaign. We are now working with the interview data to share findings and to inform our development of the survey to be disseminated during Phase Three.
We would like to give our sincere thanks to all of the parents who we interviewed over the past 12 months. We were humbled by parents’ willingness to share their experiences of their children’s education and perspectives on private tutoring.
