
Ms Arshdeep Kaur has just joined us, with her focus on Prof. Anthony O’ Mullane’s project-Synthesis of nickel nanocatalysts from waste nickel-metal hydride batteries for electrochemical water-splitting.
She is a chemical engineer with qualifications from Thapar University, Punjab, India, whose previous work was on solid-state hydrogen storage in the form of sodium borohydride where hydrogen was released upon reaction with alumina nanoparticles.
She has experience in reactor design, kinetics and materials characterization.
