Cost Effective Direct Osmosis System for Water Desalination in Gas Mining

This project investigates a new method of water desalination using a cost effective process. In this project, a modified forward osmosis desalination process will be used to generate potable water from an unconventional source using waste energy. This new process is environmentally friendly, with a much smaller carbon footprint compared to conventional reverse-osmosis (RO) processes.
