Constructing Chiral Sensors for Rapid Detection and Enantiomeric Analysis of Illicit Drugs

This project is aimed at developing novel electrochemical sensors for the rapid identification of compounds of forensic interest. These sensors will function as a fast, low cost, easy to handle in-field tool for the rapid identification of target compounds. The enatioselective capability of these sensors should enable the distinguishing of different enantiomers in the field.
