Estelle Pretorius recently completed her PhD on “Cannabis and Driving in Australia and Canada: Exploring Stakeholders’ Perspectives to Help Inform Education Initiatives“.  Estelle is joining the MAIC-QUT Road Safety Research Collaboration, as a Postdoctoral Fellow, working on several projects with the team.

• Appealing to our humanity: Designing and evaluating messages encouraging prosocial driving behaviours to enhance road safety
• Examining the potential for protective clothing to reduce injuries in cyclists
• Review of deterrence theory and enforcement case studies
