Jack Fenwick

PhD Student, QUT

Jack Fenwick is currently conducting his PhD in mathematics at QUT. His PhD project uses mathematical modelling to investigate relationships between osteocyte network architectures and bone-related properties, such as bone mineralisation and mechanical adaptation. A variety of methods will be used including finite element methods, random walk based methods and medical imaging data analyses to extract physical information, cell geometry and network topology. Previously in 2022 Jack completed his masters thesis at QUT which focussed on developing methods to efficiently solving coupled fractional PDES
