Summary
Alexander Stoegner is an Austrian PhD student at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT; Faculty of Health, School of Biomedical Sciences). Prior to this, he completed a Bachelors Degree in “Biomedical Analysis” at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, as well as a Masters in “Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine” at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum in Vienna. Alex began his work in research in 2019 as a member of the Karl Chiari Lab for Orthopaedic Biology of the Medical University of Vienna, where he focused on the establishment of additive manufacturing – and molecular biology techniques. In April 2024, he commenced his studies in Australia working on the establishment of an in vitro model of the osteocyte lacuna canalicular network under the supervision of Dr. Nathalie Bock.
