Ravindra Pethiyagoda was awarded a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Queensland University of Techonology in December of 2016. His PhD supervisors were Professor Scott McCue and Associate Professor Timothy Moroney, both still reside at QUT.
Ravindra is currently employed as a Post Doc. for an ARC Linkage project titled "Mathematical and computational models for agrichemical retention on plants" and an ARC Discovery project titled "Mathematical analysis of water waves and ship wakes".
