Zizhen (Peter) Ding graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (First class honours) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Sydney and is now a PhD student in the School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering in 3D and 4D printing of ceramics. In his PhD program, Zizhen works to make tougher (less brittle) ceramics and form ceramics into complex shapes without sacrificing their mechanical properties.
