Geneva Birtles is currently undertaking her Honours degree under the supervision of Dr Adrianne Jenner, Dr Robyn Araujo and Dr Michael Dallaston. Her thesis is titled “Spatial modelling of lesions in multiple sclerosis patients”. Geneva completed her Bachelor of Mathematics from QUT in 2021 and will complete her Honours at the end of 2022. Over the 2021/2022 summer she was an Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) Vocation Research Scholarship (VRES) recipient. For her final presentation of this project she was awarded best student talk at the AMSI-VRES Conference.
