Noirin Neligan is an Associate Lecturer in Medical Radiation Sciences (MRS) within the School of Clinical Sciences.  She is an experienced Radiographer with over 25 years clinical experience. She is a registered Medical Radiation Practitioner and holds a concurrent position within private industry as an advanced clinical Radiographer.

Her research focuses on emerging artificial intelligence trends in medical imaging and understanding how such advances will impact student learning and improve patient clinical outcomes. This includes exploring new applications and investigating how educational institutions adapt their curriculum to meet accreditation standards and professional capabilities to equip future graduates with the necessary skills for the demanding workforce.

She is a member of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Continuing Education Committee Queensland Branch.
