Our research strategy

The Medical Radiation Sciences team is committed to advancing clinical, professional, and health educational research with the goal of cultivating a robust research ethos among trainee and practising professionals in medical radiation sciences. Our team collaborates extensively with diverse clinical and academic institutions nationwide, actively participating in a broad spectrum of research endeavours and providing mentorship to a cohort of  higher degree research students pursuing Master of Philosophy and PhD qualifications

  • Musculoskeletal applications of elastography including the assessment of muscle stiffness in the acute stage post-stroke
  • The role of ultrasound elastography in placental research
  • Optimising Ultrasound-based Liver Fat Quantification Methods
  • Evaluating the role of abdominal ultrasound for the diagnosis of fungal infection in paediatric oncology patients.
