QUT Law comprises over 50 continuing academics mostly on teaching and research positions. Our researchers have a strong socio-legal orientation and conduct their research using a range of different methods including legislative and policy mapping and analysis; systematic qualitative literature reviews; socio-legal thematic analysis; qualitative and quantitative research; and applying co-design methods when working with research partners. QUT Law research also has a strong history of traditional ‘black letter’ law analysis involving public and private law fields.
