Where misogyny hides: An examination of everyday misogyny in discourses about Depp v Heard on Twitter
Lucinda’s doctoral research explores everyday forms of online misogyny on social media platforms, with a particular focus on the negotiation of belief in discourses about domestic violence. Through a rich, qualitative analysis of content about the Depp v Heard trial on Twitter, she aims to understand the cumulative harms of less extreme expressions of misogyny, and how content moderation might better address them.
