Institutional Conscientious Objection and Voluntary Assisted Dying

The purpose of this research is to examine: (1) whether the assertions of institutional conscience and institutional conscientious objection are conceptually sound, and (2) assuming they are conceptually sound in some sense, whether asserting the precedence of institutional conscientious objection over patient claims can be normatively justified by the constructivist moral theories of Scanlon.
