The Australasian Heat and Mass Transfer (AHMT) Conference is a research forum organised by the Australasian Fluid and Thermal Engineering Society (AFTES). The objective of the 10th AHMTC is to bring together researchers to meet and present their work and to disseminate new knowledge to the Heat and Mass Transfer community. There was ample scope to network and exchange ideas. This conference covered both fundamental and applied topics in broad areas of convection, conduction, radiation, turbulence, multi-phase flow, combustion, drying, heat exchangers, computational methods, experimental methods, and other significant thermal processes in environmental, industrial, fire and process engineering. The last conference series was held by Prof. Julio Soria at Monash University in Melbourne, November 2-4 2011.
AHMT2016 Conference was a truly international exemplification of collaboration with attendees from a range of countries including Canada, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and Australia. With a number of keynote lectures delivered and growing participation over many critical and contemporary topics presented over the two-day conference. The Queensland University of Technology hosted the 10th AHMTC in beautiful Brisbane, Queensland in one the most modern research institutes for heat and mass transfer. All published papers were peer reviewed to the HERDC standard with the proceedings being assigned an ISBN.
