
My recently completed (August, 2025) PhD research focuses on Study Abroad through the lens of socio-spatial mobility and the outcomes relevant to the individual, their profession and political soft power. I am currently a Senior Research Assistant project managing two ARC research projects and have been involved in several projects targeting various aspects of Initial Teacher Education (ITE) and Preservice teachers (PSTs).
As a sessional academic I have taught EUB005 Global Teacher, Learner and Citizen and have been a tutor in a few STEM focussed UG and PG units.

Past and current projects
- Australia Awards Teacher Training and Research in STEM Education in PNG. This project was designed to upskill high school teachers in STEM Education. Between 2020-23, 73 teachers (98%) completed the Graduate Certificate in STEM Education course.
- Evaluation of Post Graduate Diploma of Education (PGDE) program and related activities at the University of Goroka. The primary aim of this project was to evaluate the PGDE program and how it addressed the STEM Education needs of the learners
