
My research focuses on innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities in STEM education across schools, post-secondary and informal learning contexts. I draw HDR students from the Indo-Pacific region and my collaborators are located in Malaysia, PR China, and Hong Kong.

A study of emotional energy in a Chinese primary STEM classroom
Commenced in 2019. Collaboration with Shanghai Normal University investigating emotions in learning in a primary school context.
Emotional energy and creativity of young STEM makers: An ethnographic study using wearable devices

Co-lead for Doctoral Forum linking QUT with Beijing Normal University, University of Calgary
