Past and current projects
Beyond Imported Understandings of Domestic Violence in the Pacific
The ARC DECRA project aims to investigate local understandings of the causes, manifestations, and best-suited responses to the problem in the Pacific. It advances a study of local stakeholder’s perspectives of domestic violence in Solomon Islands and Tuvalu to generate non-Western, context-specific insight into developing policies and practices to inform improved frontline responses.
Developing Contextually Appropriate Responses to Domestic Violence in Developing Pacific Island Countries: A Pathway to Improved Frontline Responses
The British Academy Global Challenges Research Funds (GCRF) Networking Grant project engaged stakeholders from Fiji, PNG, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu to discuss multi-partner responses to DV.
