The New South Wales Office of Environment and Hermitage (OEH) Blue Mountains and Lithgow AirWatch project went live this week! Twelve KOALAs developed by QUT are being used in this project and presently sending data to their in-cloud database. The project will start in May 2019 and run until May 2020, providing a better picture of air quality in the region and help inform future initiatives to protect air quality. This project is an extension of our ARC Linkage Senor project titled, Establishing advanced networks for air quality sensing and analysis. For more information about the Sensor project.
