Jodie Tanner


    Masters Student

    Jodie Tanner is currently undertaking her Master’s of Philosophy in the School of Public Health and Social Work, Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation, Queensland University of Technology.

    Jodie graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2016 with First Class Honours and is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She is also a member of Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA). Jodie’s Master’s research involves the Safety and Feasibility of Exercise in women with more advanced Breast Cancer.

    Jodie currently works as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist on the ECHO (exercise and ovarian cancer) and SAFE (exercise and breast cancer) research trials.

    Jodie is passionate about the role exercise can have in improving the quality of life for cancer survivors and hopes that this research will lead to a better standard of care for women post cancer treatment.
