Cael Gallagher is a PhD candidate within the School of Computer Science, QUT. Her PhD titled “Enabling Situated Learning through Immersive Geology Field Trips” focuses on how immersive technologies (e.g., Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality) can be used to teach field geology to undergraduate students. Cael’s background is in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) with a Bachelor of Innovation Sciences & ICT from the Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e) in the Netherlands.
