Helen has gained considerable research experience in almost 20 years at QUT, working most recently on a range of projects in palliative care. These projects have involved a wide variety of research designs including descriptive population based studies, large multivariate studies, and randomised controlled trials.
As a biostatistician, she has been responsible for research design, methodologies, data management and analysis. She has been data manager and analyst for numerous projects in the ‘cancer services’ field as a member of multidisciplinary and multi-site research teams that have achieved successful research outcomes.
