Madison Klarkowski was a research associate in the Games Research and Interaction Design lab. Her PhD research focused largely on the psychophysiological evaluation of the play experience, with a keen interest in assessing the role of psychophysiological measurement in player and user experience contexts.

Madison was employed as a sessional academic with the Queensland University of Technology 2012 – 2019, and taught a breadth of units within the Games and Interactive Entertainment degree relating to video game ludology, history, and culture; user experience design; and games production and development. She also contributed as a research associate to the MindMax initiative.
