Toni White is a professional genealogist who has worked on behalf of the Fromelles Project and Unrecovered War Casualties Unit – Army (UWC-A) since 2010. Ms White has extensive experience in researching, verifying, and compiling comprehensive, multi-generational family trees and has completed research for more than 1800 unrecovered service personnel, including soldiers from the First and Second World Wars and Korea. Ms White has also consulted on historical cases from other branches of the Australian Defence Force. Ms White’s current work focuses on establishing family trees for missing soldiers who have been selected based on their proximity to recently recovered remains. The express purpose of this work is to identify and contact living family members who would be suitable for comparison DNA analysis, leading to a positive identification.
