    Omar joined the Genomics Research Centre in 2014, starting as a visiting researcher in the Genetics of Memory project, and is currently a PhD candidate.

    Omar’s PhD research will explore the genetic and epigenetic basis of concussion development and incidence. His research interests include, but are not limited to, neural, behavioural, and psychiatric genetics, as well as bioinformatics. Omar looks forward to seeing how the advances in human genomics will enhance health care and human life in the next few years.
