Lloyd Hopkins

    Honours Student

2018     Bachelor of Science, University of Newcastle

Lloyd is an Honours student at the Genomics Research Centre, his research project is titled: DNA methylation status of miRNAs implicated in NHL as potential biomarkers in peripheral blood.

Lloyd graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Newcastle in 2018. His research interests include epigenetics, molecular genomics in disease, and diagnostic genetics. His current research is focused on the genetics and epigenetics of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, identifying the role DNA methylation of the regulatory regions micro-RNA genes can have in the diagnosis and prognosis of the disease.
